Everton veteran Ashley Young has poked fun at their opponents over the weekend.

Young and his teammates defeated Nottingham forest in the Premier League in a relegation six pointer.

Forest, who were furious at refereeing decisions during the game, appeared to suggest they would take action against the Premier League.

"Three extremely poor decisions - three penalties not given - which we simply cannot accept," read a post on their official X account.

"We warned the PGMOL that the VAR [Attwell] is a Luton fan before the game but they didn't change him. Our patience has been tested multiple times. NFFC will now consider its options."

On Monday morning, Young posted a screenshot of the song Cry Me a River by Justin Timberlake on his social media accounts.
