USC Football: ASU Game Represents Unique Moment For Senior Safety
USA TODAY Sports

The USC Trojans are gearing up for their upcoming clash against Arizona State University this Saturday, a game in which they are heavily favored.

It holds special significance for one of USC's redshirt seniors, Max Williams, as he faces a familiar opponent on the Sun Devils' side – his younger brother, Macen Williams, a redshirt junior defensive back.

This matchup marks the final time the two brothers will face off in college, and the second time they'll go head-to-head on the field.

Max, who has recorded nine total tackles and one interception in the first three games, fondly recalls their childhood battles and reflects on the significance of playing against his little brother.

“It takes us back to childhood memories,” said Max, a redshirt senior at USC. “Us working out together, competing against each other and now we compete against each other on different teams. It’s an amazing feeling.”

The Williams brothers have not only battled each other but also their fair share of on-field and off-field challenges as college athletes. This history adds an extra layer of excitement to the upcoming game.

As the game approaches, both brothers are expected to give their all to contribute to their respective teams.

The entire family will be in attendance, undoubtedly torn between rooting for their two talented sons. It's a heartwarming story of sibling rivalry and family unity, making this matchup more than just another college football game.

Still, USC will loom to dominate and should. We wish the two brothers luck and nothing but success (especially Max).
